I would say that 90% of all my couples say something like.
“we hate having our photo taken”
“we’re not very good at having our photo taken”
And oh man - me neither! But this is my speciality…. AND one of the reasons why I got into photography. I love making imagery that makes someone go ‘oh, I actually look pretty good’… I want you to see YOU how everyone else sees you!! I won’t give away all my secrets, but basically I keep things super casual and fun for you. We can get as creative or as low key as want and with whatever direction you need, we’ll get those badass bitchin pics that we all secretly would like to have of ourselves.

And one decent pic you shall receive. In fact, there will be many. But not just of you. The majority of my couples don’t want a gallery full of themselves. If they haven’t already, people will tell you how quickly your wedding day flies by - and it really does. As I see it, my job is to get all those moments you miss - all of your guests’ shenanigans… so once you’ve recovered you’ll be able to relive your day over and over again. In terms of HOW MANY you get - it very much depends on how many guests you have and how long you have me there for.

That’s the short version.
The longer version is that no matter what the weather, I can guarantee you we’ll still get some incredible photos - if you’re game, I’m game.

My aim is always to get them back to you in 6-8 weeks. This can vary depending on how many weddings I’m shooting at that point in time.
HOWEVER - within 48 hours, you’ll always get some Sneaky Peeks…. As soon as I get home after a wedding, I’m backing up your images and generally can’t wait to look at them myself - and before I know it, I’ve edited enough images for you to wake up to the next morning…

I surely do. I include up to 2 hours (from my home in Beaumaris, Vic) of travel in all Wedding Photography packages. But I have an up to date passport and am more than happy to travel to the highest mountain with you, Baby!! Depending on where we’re going, there will of course be extra travel costs such as accommodation and fuel/flights. BUT everything is doable!! Just holler at me HERE

I absolutely can. This is not my first rodeo and I have seen Weddings done in many different ways. I can give you an idea on how much time you’ll need for each part of the day - and this can vary a lot - depending on number of guests, locations, outfit changes, first looks, etc etc.
The MOST important thing to remember is… THIS IS YOUR DAY… do it however the bloody hell you want to. I can make any situation and any timeframe work - I just want whatever you want.

But TBH, you really won’t need to.
You’ll have found your way to my website because you’re probably not having a super wedding-y wedding and not looking for super wedding-y wedding photos!! However, about a month before the big day, I always send out my ‘GAME DAY/ PLAY-BY-PLAY’ form. This is where you can put all the deets from your day in the one place. There is a place for things like Family/Group photos - where you can list who you want in what photo. I print this off (I’m old skool!!) and have it with me on the day. I’ve been doing this long enough to know what the important shots are for the people who book me. You’ll get everything you thought you wanted and then all the things you didn’t even know you wanted.

If I don’t say so myself, I’m pretty good at reading the room. Which means I can tell when you’ve had enough or if you need a little more help. I’ve got you! I’ll be your very own cheer squad or security guard. Whatever you need.

The short answer is NO. I pride myself in keeping your images true to life. I keep my editing as authentic as possible giving extra attention to skin tone and keeping all the vibrancy of your day. I DO however remove temporary distractions if needed. I want you to see yourselves the way that everyone else does.

I’m very lucky to be a part of a wonderful community of talented and like minded photographers. I know, without a doubt, that if, for whatever reason I am unable to shoot your wedding, I will be able to find someone to take my place. These are people who I have covered for before, or I have socialised with - not just a random person putting their hand up. We’ve got you covered.

I am definitely a dog person. I have two Newfoundlands (Primmy & Lolo) so no dog is too big for me!
