He was a very big part of the wedding!
And not just because of his size - all 72kg of him!
He watched dutifully as Jo walked down the aisle to Stan.
He was the ring bearer.
He was giver of much slobber & slime.
He is Tuka.
Give me all the doggos at all the weddings please!!
Any shape, any size - I'm a big fan.
With a Newfoundland at home, I'm not much fazed by any dog!!

So many amazing firsts for me at this one... - the dress, - a wedding clump (as opposed to a wedding party), - working with the gorgeous @zenalythgo.celebrant (even though the ceremony was predominantly run by their close friend @lucygladewright who did an amazing job btw)
- fully grown flower girls
- many many tears of absolute joy
- streamers instead of confetti
- yellow @newbalance dance floor trainers for the bride
- shooting at @gatherandtailor - take me back already.
So yeah - it was all kinds of special.

I had such an amazing day with these guys.
They have some bloody brilliant people in their lives - who certainly know how to cut loose on the dance floor! Scroll through for the epicness that is this wedding. How I love a good confetti shot.
Even better when that confetti is eco-bloody-friendly and will wash into nothingness with the next downpour (or hose-pour).
And it's very handy when your couple chooses a lane with a takeaway only dispensary and there are multiple delivery drivers you can hijack to provide some back light!!

A New Year’s Eve wedding at Quat Quatta and a quick trip to the beach…. is a truly beautiful thing.
What better way to spend NYE than with some babes like this, at one of my favourite venues, and then escape to the beach for 20 mins. Nope - it doesn’t get much better.
Sam and Teagan had styled the shit out of their wedding - with some of the most legendary vendors around. It was pretty awesome and I continually feel so bloody luck to be a part of these wonderful days. One of the most notable styling success was the fact that they got all their guests to wear white and they were the ones who wore the colour.

Addie & Drew
A beautiful, and rain interrupted, ceremony at one of Melbourne’s coolest venues. Butler Lane was the perfect place for these two cool cats on their wedding day. It may have poured during the ceremony, but Drew & Addie took it all in their stride.
A sudden downpour interrupted Drew and Addie's wedding ceremony at Butler Lane.
But just like the true legends they are, they took it all in their stride, popped up some umbrellas and when it was clear what Mother Nature intended, we just went inside. Too easy.
And it was thanks to the people that Drew & Addie had surrounded themselves with, that made it so easy.... nobody panicked... they were all clearly 'walkers in rain' (as opposed to 'just getting wet' ) kind of people - which are definitely my kind of people. And inside we went.
The staff at Butler's Lane were amazing - also keeping their cool, and many of the guests took it upon themselves to brave the elements and help bring things, such as the florals, inside.
All in all it was a bloody lovely way to spend my birthday... celebrating with some pretty special people on their very special day.
