Abby & Chris
Bride in Black
Groom rocking velvet & Jeans
A sweet af example of two baben McBabes doing their own thang... I use the term 'one of my favourite' a LOT. And probably, if you looked back, you'd be within your right to call me out and say 'but you call every couple ONE OF YOUR FAVES'... and it's true. Every couple I work with ARE one of my faves. It's like asking me who my favourite child is... I just don't have one - although my children would beg to differ I'm sure - but I tend to fall in love with every one of my awesome couples and it makes me feel so bloody lucky to have these people in my life - albeit for just one day that flies by waaaaay too quickly.
What a lucky girl I am.

Red Velvet Suit.
Skirt with pockets.
Another day, another wet wedding.
This is my 3rd wet shoot in a row, with my 3rd super awesome couple ready to brave the elements and embrace the rain. I'd say that's a pretty bloody awesome hat trick!! Not only that, I love that Rose is holding the umbrella while Stefano holds the flowers. These guys nailed it today. Can't wait to catch up with these two legends tomorrow for the PART-AY bit of their celebration..
Oh yeah and I'm slightly obsessed with Rose's top and skirt combo...
These guys did things a little bit differently too.
The ceremony was on the Friday - just an intimate affair and then a humdinger of party on the Saturday with the rest of the crew.

Yes, I KNOW!!! The coolest of cats with the chillest of attitudes - all my favourite things at a wedding - doing their own thang, their own way with good people, good cheese and good wine AND some serious shape throwing on the D-FLOOR. YEAH BABY YEAH.

Confetti galore.
Off the charts dance floor action.
I had such an amazing day with these guys.
They have some bloody brilliant people in their lives - who certainly know how to cut loose on the dance floor! Scroll through for the epicness that is this wedding. How I love a good confetti shot.
Even better when that confetti is eco-bloody-friendly and will wash into nothingness with the next downpour (or hose-pour).
And it's very handy when your couple chooses a lane with a takeaway only dispensary and there are multiple delivery drivers you can hijack to provide some back light!!

Mike & Jerome
Waterfall Elopement.
Red Umbrella.
International of the most epic proportions.
I feel sooooo bloody lucky to have been a part of Mike and Jerome's very special elopement... the day filled my heart with so many different emotions - mostly love, joy, admiration, excitement... it certainly was a day of all the feels. A truly international wedding - Mike is an American who has been living in Pakistan & Jerome is a frenchmen who has been living in Thailand, their guests flew in from Spain, France & Thailand.
These two gorgeous humans eloped at the magical Erskine Falls ..... just after we walked down to the falls, and just moments before the ceremony started it absolutely bucketed down with rain - but these adventurous boys ( and their 6 guests) took it all in their stride and saw only the beauty in what was about to happen. I LOVE a couple who embraces the rain - any time, any place.
Such a gorgeous ceremony... with the equally gorgeous @zenalythgo.celebrant at the helm - to whom we are also grateful for planting this watery seed in the minds of these two elopers...
Casey & Harrison
Best wedding outfits ever.
Laneway confetti.
All the feels.
Oh. My. Giddy. Aunt.
Casey & Harrison are absolutely the best humans out there. Not knowing what the other was going to be wearing, they are clearly a match made in fashion heaven and nailed their wedding outfits. What a treat for my first same-sex wedding in Melbourne.
The bar has been set very high!
I got to spend the day with these two gorgeous humans.
I laughed. I cried (with actual tears almost to the point of sobbing). I was blown away by the amount of love there was in the room and surrounding them at all times.
I am in awe (and not just a little bit jealous) of the amount of style these two have.
I would like to do this day all over again. And again. And again.
I can't thank you enough, @caseyscottflawless & @harrison_jack for having me along for the ride.

Lauren & Mark
Eloping at the Tanglewood.
The ‘who’s who’ of vendors.
Disco vibes.
A beautiful Tanglewood Estate wedding/elopement. Laura and Mark married amongst the trees at Tanglewood with just their parents as guests - oh and a heap of flipping awesome vendors to boot.
One of the things I love about these kind of elopements is that generally the couple get ready together. I love that they’re starting their married life, as they mean to go on…. together.
We had a lot of lol’s with these two and they were such great sports - even when it was less than balmy conditions!
And the venue. Well. Tanglewood Estate is truly a magical place - I would love to live there permanently if I could - look out Tanglewood… you might just find me setting up camp!
