Let's cut to the chase... you're probably here to find out if I'm wildly out of budget... or if you're about to think, "Fuck yeah... we can make this work."

You’ve probably never done anything like this before - organise a wedding - and it can be pretty bloody daunting.

I’m not going to ramble on about how I’m super relaxed, not pushy, work like a ninja, pretty flipping good at getting on with ALL your family, oh and take super creative, yet super candid photos.
Nope. Not gonna mention any of that!

What I am going to say is this.... this is YOUR day.
And you should do it how you bloody well want to. You may get a bit of push back leading up to your wedding - but on the actual day, all those nay- sayers will be so blown away, and caught up with all the feels, that they will have forgotten any doubts.

It’s your day. Do it your way.

The other thing…

…. you might be thinking, is something along the lines of…
I HATE having my photo taken.
We’re super awkward.
We’ll be shit in front of the camera.
We hate posing.
etc etc - you get the gist.

Well - let me tell you, and I’m not even joking… but those are all the things that nearly every couple say to me.
Every time.
And yet.
They nail their photos.
Every time.

What I want most for you, is that you just do you.
I’m not going to make you start doing weird shit (well not too weird*) all of a sudden, that you wouldn’t normally do.

Let me explain.
Just having a camera in your face may feel a bit weird.
But I have a strictly ‘no posing’ policy…
(ok - so when I say ‘strictly’, that’s not strictly true - am more than happy to put my director’s hat on and get all creative with you…I also know how to read a room and generally know how far to push you!! or not!… see below)
I may give a bit of direction…. but that is all.
And with that direction we can get as creative or as candid as you want.
I might get you to stand in amongst some beautiful smoke trees (my new favourite plant) - that might feel a bit weird.
Or twirl in front of a roller door.
Or stand ‘yes, right there - no left a bit, no right a bit’.
It all might feel a bit weird…
…but I promise you, it will be worth it.
And that’s just for the portraits.
For the rest of the time I’ll have my ninja skates on, documenting the love, the laughs, the tears, the nana naps, the nose picking, the bum scratching, the shot taking, the sneaky snogging, the dad dancing, the beer sculling, the cake scoffing, the bear hugging, the high fiving. the story telling.
Yup, I’l be there to get all of that.

Extras

2nd Shooter - I can generally cover everything on my own. The only time I would recommend a 2nd shooter is if you’re having more than 130 guests or if your prep locations are quite a distance apart. from $150/hr (depending on dates and experience of the second shooter)

Ok, let’s cut to the cash

I’d like to say that it shouldn’t be about the $$$.
And in a perfect world it wouldn’t be.
It would be about the fact that you flipping love my work, my vibe, my ethos and all you want to do is say ‘sign us up now Anna’.
It would be that you recognise that there’s so much more to a photographer than just his/her photos.
It would be that you realise, that out of your whole wedding day, your photos are the thing that will last you the longest.
That would be a perfect world.
But I totally get it.
